The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, thanks to generous donor support, provides over $30,000 in academic assistance each year to many young deserving recipients.
Awards are available to current or past club members and volunteers (Min. 3 months), who are entering their first year of post-secondary studies and are under the age of 24.
The BGCO Scholarship Program is intended to recognize youth for their community effort, involvement and participation with the Club, academic success and financial need.
Doing good things for others during difficult times in one’s own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances and/or challenges of each applicant will be considered.
In 2019, 16 young people received scholarships. You could be next!
The Boys and Girls Club of Canada is pleased to offer scholarships to past or present Boys and Girls Club Members who will be pursuing post-secondary education in September 2020.
Helping provide access to post-secondary education is a valuable way Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada helps young people realize their potential. The recipients will receive an amount between $1,000- $2,000.
If you have any questions about scholarships, please contact Bryn Johnson at via email email@example.com.
