BGC Ottawa Staff are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instance of unacceptable behavior.
BGC Ottawa Staff have the right and responsibility to report, remove, edit, or reject behaviors, comments, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
This Code of Conduct applies within all BGC Ottawa spaces, and it also applies when an individual is representing BGC Ottawa in public spaces. Examples of BGC Ottawa spaces include official social media accounts, official BGC Ottawa locations, representatives at online or offline events, and any other space that could reasonably be considered a part of BGC Ottawa.
Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the Staff at email@example.com . All complaints will be reviewed, investigated, and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The Staff is obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident.
