The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa and its partners provide over $30,000 in academic assistance each year to many young recipients. Awards are available to non-members, current or past members, volunteers and current part-time employees (who were past members) of the Club. The BGCO Scholarship Program is intended to recognize youth for their community effort, involvement and participation with the Club, academic success and financial need.
Doing good for others during difficult times in one's own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances and/or challenges of each applicant will be considered.
In 2017, 17 young people received scholarships. You can be the next one!
The Boys and Girls Club of Canada is pleased to offer scholarships to past or present Boys and Girls Club Members who will be pursuing post-secondary education in September 2017.
Helping provide access to post-secondary education is a valuable way Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada helps young people realize their potential. The recipients will receive an amount between $1,000- $2,000.
If you have any questions about scholarships, please contact Tash Raposo at 613-232-0925 ext. 263 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
